In the video posted on social media today, Michael Chandler answers two key questions; is the top-up qualification necessary and why are some courses 3 days long and other 5 days?
The video addresses why we have stuck to the 5 day option and it basically comes down the fact that there is an increased likelihood of instructors having to do more work for those who have opted for home study. This, in turn, could increase the time frame between training course and qualification being issued. If you are confident that you will not make any errors for the self-study elements, then it is recommended that you consider an option with fewer classroom days. However, if you would prefer to mitigate the risk of having to do more work, or going over what you have already done then the 5 day option is probably a better fit.
